B’eez Bistro is a café in Paarl, South Africa. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, create an account, place an order, contact the business, or use authentication services.

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

• your phone number;
• order information and order notes;
• account information; and
• technical information needed to operate and secure the website.

Google sign-in

Google OAuth is handled through Supabase Authentication. B’eez Bistro receives only information allowed by the permissions you approve, such as your email address and basic profile information. We never receive your Google password.

How information is used

We use information to manage accounts, process and fulfil orders, contact customers about orders, display order history, provide customer support, prevent misuse, and operate and secure the website.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. Supabase provides database and authentication services, Vercel provides website hosting, and online payments are processed through PayFast. Payment-related information may be exchanged with PayFast to process and verify transactions. B’eez Bistro does not store customer card details. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for business or legal purposes. We use reasonable security safeguards to protect information, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold, request corrections, or request deletion where applicable. You can also revoke Google OAuth access through your Google account.

Cookies / browser storage

Browser storage may be used for your cart, preferences, guest order history, and authentication session.

South African privacy law

B’eez Bistro aims to handle personal information in accordance with applicable South African data-protection law, including POPIA where applicable.
